WORLD DAY OF ARCHITECTURE- Iriga Rinconada

In connection with the WORLD DAY OF ARCHITECTURE, The IRIGA-RINCONADA CHAPTER was invited by the UAPSA for their 2 Days general assembly with the theme, “UAPSA: Responding to the needs of the Global Society, Helping Build a Greener Community” which was held at University of Saint Anthony, Iriga City. The activities was participated by all the schools of Architecture in Bicol B5, they are Bicol University (BU), Aquinas University of Legazpi (AUL), Daet State University, Cam. Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC, Nabua & Naga), University of Northeastern Philippines (UNEP), Sorsogon State Colleges and the Host, University of Saint Anthony (USANT).

SUPPLEMENTAL FEEDING PROGRAM

With the growing concern on the health issues of school children which may turn up into malnutrition and other related illness such as dengue, etc., the Iriga-Rinconada Chapter Architects came up with a project on Supplemental Feeding Program last October 8, 2010, which turned out very successful. The chosen school was San Vicente Elementary school, Nabua, Camarines Sur composed of almost 600 school children from grade 1 to grade 6. The parents and teachers are very thankful for the kind of activity that the architects have come up, since they told us that it is the very first time that an organization had done this kind of activity. The barangay council of San Vicente is also very thankful for the activity.

Sorsogon Kasanggayahan Chapter 10th Chapter Anniversary

The United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) Sorsogon Kasanggayahan Chapter will celebrate its 10th Chapter Anniversary this year. As such the chapter will commemorate the significant events that happened in its past and all the people who contributed to the success of the chapter.

The celebration will be on November 27,2010,Saturday 7:pm at ParadiseHotel, Pangpang, Sorsogon City with the theme: “Ten years of Professional Excellence, Commitment and Service…….a Decade more.” Invited guests are the National Officers of the UAP and the Vice-Mayor and Mayor of Sorsogon City.
