NATIONAL ARCHITECTURE WEEK 2010 CELEBRATION

December 6, 2010- 7:00a.m- Members of the United Architects of the Philippines Surigao Chapter preparing streamers for the motorcade around Surigao City. The route was from City hall to Borromeo St, Navarro St.,Espina Extension, Narciso St.,Rizal St., Capitol Compound, back to City Hall.

Courtesy call with the new mayor of Surigao City, Engr. Ernesto T. Matugas. We discussed to him the overview of R.A. 9266 and the services of the architect. We later requested for a new executive order for the continuous implementation of R.A. 9266 in Surigao City in which he agreed.

December 11, 2010. UAP- Surigao Chapter ended the celebration of National Architecture Week at the UAP- Surigao Chapter Office. This was also our last monthly meeting for the year 2010 and at the same time, Christmas Party.

UAP Surigao Chapter last monthly meeting for the year 2010. Agenda being discussed were the upcoming National Convention, national dues, and minimum monthly meeting attendance for members from mainland and island architects.
